This year has marked a further blow to the constitutional right to protest in the US, starting with the fatal police shooting [ruled homicide by medical examiner with 57 gun shot wounds] of forest protector and anti-Cop City activist Manuel Esteban Paez Terán in Atlanta in January 2023.
